◆ Nameplate necklace cut files

Nameplate necklace SVG files - any name, welded and laser-ready

The classic nameplate necklace - the connected-script name on a chain - starts as a cut file. GemTheName generates that file for any name in seconds: letters welded into one continuous piece, jump-ring loops at both ends, exported as true-millimetre SVG + DXF that cuts identically to the preview.

✦A digital product: you instantly receive laser-ready cut files (SVG + DXF) - not a finished necklace.

What makes a nameplate file “good”

Every nameplate necklace SVG has to solve the same three problems: the letters must be connected (or welded) into one object, the floating pieces - dots on i and j, accents - must be bridged, and the counters inside letters must stay intact so they cut out cleanly. Miss any of those and the pendant falls apart on the laser bed. GemTheName runs that weld-bridge-verify chain automatically on every name, and shows you a “single piece - ready to cut” check before you buy.

Files come sized at 30, 40 or 50 mm wide with loops ready for standard 3-4 mm jump rings - the same construction the classic “Carrie” nameplate uses.

Beyond the Latin alphabet

Most nameplate generators stop at English. Here the same engine also produces Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati nameplates - with live transliteration so you can type “priya” and pick the correct प्रिया. If your customers are diaspora buyers, that is an entire market your competitors cannot serve.

For makers and sellers

Cut the file in 1-2 mm brass or gold-plated steel for jewellery, or acrylic for trend pieces. Selling on Etsy? Ready-made library designs include product mockup photos you can reuse in listings, and the licence covers unlimited physical products.

◆ Questions
Is the nameplate one piece or separate letters?

One piece, always. Letters are welded together and anything floating is bridged with hairline connectors - the file is verified as a single continuous outline before download.

What formats do I get?

SVG and DXF, generated from identical geometry in true millimetres. Use SVG in design apps and hobby laser software, DXF for CAD/CAM and jewellery workshops.

Can I customise the size?

Choose 30, 40 or 50 mm width in the designer; the file reports its exact width × height. Being true vectors, your shop can also rescale within reason.
