Why Devanagari needs special care

Devanagari is beautiful and brutal to laser-cut. The shirorekha (headline) connects letters, but matras, bindus and half-forms often float free - cut a naïve outline and pieces literally fall out of the machine. Our pipeline welds every letter into the headline and automatically adds tiny bridges where the script breaks, so every pendant comes out as one continuous piece of metal. The calligraphic typeface is drawn for jewellery, not print - thick enough to survive cutting at 30-50 mm widths.

Not sure how to write a name in Hindi for a necklace?
