GemTheName is a digital studio: you get the name necklace cut file - a welded, single-piece SVG + DXF - and any laser shop turns it into the physical piece. Here is the whole journey.
Type the name
In plain English - priya, rahul, anjali. Live transliteration shows the correct Hindi, Marathi or Gujarati spellings to pick from; English names render directly. You can also paste native-script text.
We forge the pendant
The name is set in a jewellery typeface, every letter is welded to its neighbour, floating marks get hairline bridges, and jump-ring loops are added at both ends - then the geometry is verified as one continuous piece.

Cut it anywhere
Hand the files to any laser, fiber-laser, CNC or waterjet shop - or cut it yourself on a Glowforge, xTool or similar. 1-2 mm brass, gold-plated steel, silver or gold for jewellery; acrylic and plywood for keychains and décor.
SVG - for design software
A single filled outline in true millimetre units. Opens in Illustrator, Inkscape, LightBurn and every modern laser suite. What you see in the preview is exactly this geometry.
DXF - for CAD, CAM & workshops
The same outline as a DXF, the format jewellery workshops, fiber lasers and CNC machines speak natively. No tracing, no conversion, no cleanup.
One continuous piece - guaranteed
Name scripts naturally break into floating pieces. We weld and bridge automatically until the outline is one closed loop with no islands, and verify it before you can download. If it isn’t single-piece, it doesn’t ship.
Sized for jewellery
Choose 30, 40 or 50 mm width in the designer. Bridges and loop rings are tuned for that range and for real-world laser kerf - and being true vectors, your shop can rescale cleanly.
